Innovative Healthcare Today, Training the Physicians of Tomorrow
Our residency has a compelling program to support our preliminary interns in their journey to training in their specialty of choice. Our preliminary interns receive about eight weeks of elective time and do not rotate in primary care clinic.
Rotations give our preliminary interns exposure in their chosen specialty.
- Interns can choose to do as few as four but as many as eight weeks at the VA PM&R clinic
- A two- or four-week anesthesia experience at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital for our preliminary interns is available for residents who are interested in anesthesia.
- Preliminary interns intending to go into radiation oncology can do electives at The City of Hope radiation oncology practice based at the St. Bernardine Medical Center.
- Our neurology preliminary interns can prepare for their advanced specialty by doing outpatient neurology rotations at The Neurology Group (TNG), a large neurology practice in the Inland Empire that also has its own budding neurology residency training program.
