The UC Riverside School of Medicine's mission is to help the medically underserved of Inland Southern California by developing a diverse workforce of physicians. Since its inception as the school's first graduate medical education program, the Internal Medicine Residency Program has distinguished itself by providing training residents to excel in all aspects of internal medicine. Our program ensures residents are exposed to diverse patient populations in a variety of settings.

We offer strong educational experiences in the clinics as well as the inpatient wards associated with our partners, Riverside University Health System – Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center, V.A. Loma Linda Healthcare System, and St. Bernardine Medical Center.

Our clinical faculty members, who span the entire spectrum of internal medicine, have a vast amount of experience in graduate medical education programs and are committed to providing the very best residency training experience.

Our program focuses on providing dedicated educational experiences that are meaningful and pertinent for a successful career path in internal medicine.  We are proud of our excellent board pass rate and that 100% of our residents have presented at regional / national meeting prior to graduating.

The Internal Medicine Residency Program at the UCR School of Medicine will provide you an innovative and dynamic educational experience while diversifying our region's physician workforce and improving the health of people living in Inland Southern California. I invite you to consider applying.

If I can answer any questions for you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
