Department of Internal Medicine
The Department of Internal Medicine at the UC Riverside School of Medicine works to bring innovative treatment of internal medicine-related healthcare issues to the people in our Inland Southern California home while training the next generation of physicians and researchers in all aspects of internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology and gastroenterology.
Information for Prospective Residents
The UCR School of Medicine's three-year graduate medical education program in internal medicine features a balanced and well-rounded curriculum that features long-block specialty rotations, work in continuity care clinics, and procedure rotations.
Internal Medicine Fellowships
The UCR School of Medicine hosts fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, gastrointestinal diseases, and interventional cardiology. Each program features strong clinical and didactic training that emphasizes multidisciplinary approach to complex healthcare problems with an emphasis on short and long term continuity of care for optimal training.
