Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at St. Bernardine Medical Center
The University of California Riverside Critical Care Medicine fellowship is an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited two-year program for candidates who have completed residency training in internal medicine or emergency medicine. Select applicants may be considered for a one-year track who have completed an internal medicine subspecialty fellowship.
The mission of the program is to train physicians to be strong and compassionate physicians to deliver the highest level of care to all critically ill patients and especially to the underserved populations. The program is primarily based at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, California and provides comprehensive experiences in the field of critical care medicine under the guidance of experienced mentors.
The teaching faculty consists of attendings trained in critical care medicine as well as other specialties including anesthesia, cardiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pulmonology, and surgery.
