Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at St. Bernardine Medical Center
The University of California, Riverside Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is a two-year program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The program is designed for physicians who have completed residency training in internal medicine or emergency medicine. Select applicants who have completed an Internal Medicine subspecialty fellowship may be considered for a one-year training track.
The mission of the program is to train skilled, compassionate physicians who deliver the highest level of care to critically ill patients, with a particular commitment to serving underserved populations.
The fellowship is primarily based at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, California, where fellows gain comprehensive clinical experience in all aspects of critical care medicine while working closely with experienced faculty mentors.
The teaching faculty includes board-certified intensivists as well as specialists from multiple disciplines, including anesthesiology, cardiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pulmonology, and surgery, providing fellows with a multidisciplinary and collaborative training environment.
