Gastrointestinal Diseases Fellowship

The Gastrointestinal Diseases Fellowship Program at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine is a three-year program that combines a multidisciplinary, team-based approach with strong clinical and didactic training. Fellows gain comprehensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing a well-rounded foundation in gastroenterology.

The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and is based at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, California.

Our mission is to train outstanding gastroenterologists prepared for excellence in both clinical practice and academic medicine, with a particular commitment to serving the communities of Inland Southern California.

Application Information

The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and accepts applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Two fellows are accepted each year, with a total of six in the program.
