The Department of Internal Medicine at the UC Riverside School of Medicine works to bring innovative treatment of internal medicine-related healthcare issues to the people in our Inland Southern California home while training the next generation of physicians and researchers in all aspects of internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology and gastroenterology.
Internal Medicine Residency
The University of California, Riverside School of Medicine's Internal Medicine Residency at St. Bernardine Medical Center is a three-year program with strong clinical and didactic training accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
The program is primarily based at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, California and provides comprehensive outpatient and strong inpatient experiences under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Internal Medicine Fellowships
The UCR School of Medicine hosts fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, gastrointestinal diseases, and interventional cardiology. Each program features strong clinical and didactic training that emphasizes multidisciplinary approach to complex healthcare problems with an emphasis on short and long term continuity of care for optimal training.
